As part of its activities at the crossroads of scientific, educational, artistic and cultural fields, the SFR Création has set itself the task of developing artist residencies to encourage the exchange of interdisciplinary knowledge derived from artistic practices.
Creative residencies are designed to be open-ended, enabling artists to pursue their personal research while forging links with teachers, researchers and students. The artistic project can be seen as a means of apprehending, studying and understanding the complexity of the mechanisms involved in the creative process, but also as a space for cooperation, experimentation and co-production, with cross-cutting and converging issues for the artist, the public and the scientists.
