CRE.EDIT, Editorial creation workshop

In conjunction with a scientific event, the CRÉ.ÉDIT (CRÉation ÉDIToriale) project is based on inviting an editor, Florian TORRES - Les éditions du typhon in Marseille, into his workshop: reception and reading of a manuscript, objectivization of selection criteria, reflection on its suitability for the editor's audience, editorial dialogue with the writer to finalize the manuscript.

The aim of this one-day workshop is to highlight the collective dimension of literary creation, highlighting the journey of a manuscript and all the editorial gestures that accompany it. The aim of the workshop is to accompany this succession of gestures, to make the publisher's horizons of expectation sensitive, and to show the creative aspect of this moment in the text: whether industry or craft, publishing is not just a means of mediation or distribution, but a space for aesthetic dialogue.
